I got the Anchor Gray with a music nib, great writer. by The extra-fine nib was just what I was looking for, perfect for small notes and the 1911 Large size is very comfortable in my hand to use. Love the size, nib, and color. Excellent quality, and extremely comfortable size. (Pennsylvania, USA) Service from Pen Chalet was awesome. Now that's a pen I'd definitely buy. This is a beautiful pen, great size, classic looks; I have 2, the Fresca and the Gray Anchor. This pen has a product #11-2024-420, designating 1911 series, large body, black resin with silver trim, and a 21K gold medium nib.
The anchor gray color is muted and appropriate for work, school, or at home. I love the flow of handwriting, the texture of fine paper, the look of the text, despite my poor handwriting.

The Sailor 1911 commemorates that encounter as the company’s flagship pen. As with all Sailor nibs, there is a little feedback, but I like it. Writes very well, as expected.
