Together with their partners: City of Fairfax Fire Department, Fort Belvior Emergency Services, Mount Vernon Association Fire Brigade are dispatched by the Fairfax County Department of Public Safety Communications. Thousands of hours of training are required to reach the rank of Lieutenant and Captain, and to command an engine company.Fairfax County has excellent training facilities.
