The reason they were protected from U-Turns and helped if they struggled is because they were social players (Scott especially was the king of this), not because anyone thought they were weak.Deserving to win is an odd point - I certainly dislike quite a few winners, but you have to respect that they "deserved" to win, by virtue of a) being there in the final three and b) dominating that last leg.
