Please help me out guys. JavaScript is disabled. Make sure its gets plenty of shelled food (shrimp and krill with shell, clams not cracked fully open ect) in the future to keep the teeth trimmed. okee so i know puffers need crunchy foods to wear down their teeth, but what fish foods are crunchy? My valentini puffer is starving because it cant eat its food.
What i do now to keep the teeth from growing is feed him store bought clams the ones you get at the grocery store I crack them a little open and then just leave it in the tank to work its way in there. I knew/know about the teeth and that's one of my bigger concerns. Should I get him a cheap hard coral to chew on, or anything of that sort? If its not one thing, its another. only the arothron puffers need their teeth worn down, valentini's are nothing to worry about
I also got a Yellow Tang but I'm not nearly as excited about that as I am the puffer .
