I suggest that you seek hotels in Bergen and Stockholm that are nearer to the Old Town areas. Had a great time.
I think the timings you set up were just perfect. I would do it again and recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind walking and living out of a suitcase.Everything went as planned. Came home with a whole new impression of the countries and Firebird did a good job in selecting sites fit for small groups.
