We need all guests sizes to provide winter clothing on arrival. For a first time visitor to Yellowknife, this company provided us with everything we needed. The following night we decided to go with a different Aurora tour group, unfortunately for us they were no where near as good as Aurora Village, I would advise to pre-book your visit to the Aurora Village.

Aurora and Winter Activities Combo. We did try to book in to try our luck at seeing the northern lights the following night however they were completely booked out. When you tour with us for three nights of aurora-viewing you have roughly a 95-percent chance of seeing the aurora at least once and if you make it four its almost 100% (its actually 98%… we do the numbers). The service (Julian (tour guide for the Northern Lights), Ken (dog sled) and Ira (snow shoe guide)) was fantastic and the gear that we rented was excellent. I felt like wherever I walked in town, I could just pop in to the Aurora Village, as it felt like "home base." Totally worth it!!!!!!! The dog sledding experience was magical as we went into the winter wonderland (2-3 people per sled) where you were surrounded by the beautiful views ...the scenery in the village was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you Aurora Village! We were lucky to see the Northern Lights in a stress free manner. Such an amazing experience with my family at the Aurora village where the staff was super friendly, caring and all the activities were well organized! We saw the Aurora every night too.
