I transferred to this school after my first semester of my freshman year and this was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I grew up in the area and have been a part of the culture for my whole life. Every single teacher is always willing to coach, guide, advise, support, and speak with their students.
Yet, still a great school that provides its students with incredible opportunities and resources for their futures.We have tried a few different charter schools in Southern Oregon and BWA is the best!
I love the school pride that each student has and I love all of the sporting games that make me proud that I am a Monarch at Mater Dei High School!As an upper school student, I love the community and the overall school. Classism is a big issue, though, due to it's location near Nike/Intel. This, of course, is to be expected to a degree.
This school may not be right for everyone, but please consider it.
The small school environment allows each student to have an education tailored to their needs. My children were challenged academically and felt extremely prepared when moving on to Lake Oswego High School.My 2 children attended TRCS between 2000 to 2005, i.e., the first 4 years of its operation (we took a gap year in Spain for 2002-2003). If you are looking for a school that has it all, St. Mary's is the place for you!Jesuit HS is not a school, it is an outstanding environment where my daughter thrived and roundly developed over the last 3.5 years. Most of the teachers really care about what they teach. I transferred here at the start of Sophomore year, and have not regretted my decision at all. However, being that the upper school is so physically close, I wish that there was more interconnectivity between the two schooling facilities.
The teachers and staff at the school are outstanding. Having been born in Ethiopia and moved to the U.S. at eight, I was already an English as a Second Language Learner. What mattered was that Catlin’s culture respected learning and this applied to everyone at the school; the teachers in 7th and 8th grade changed my life. I have had kids at different private and public elementary schools, and I have been so impressed with the quality of the education and the strength of the community at Oak Hill.
Go lions!The best thing about the International School of Beaverton besides their option of the IB Diploma Program was the small community that each class has. There is a no homework policy for the youngers which some could see as good or bad. Parent: My kids had wonderful experiences at Lake Oswego Junior High School. They don't really detract from the experience, but just be prepared. I will forever appreciate the schools ability to be accepting of all people. The teachers are probably the best part about the school because they take the time to get to know each student and care for them and see them as more than a grade but as a person.The Delphian School is the most magical place I've ever been. Not only did St. Mary's help me financially when it seemed impossible to attend, their teachers and staff went out of their way to make sure that I was welcome and pushed me to be the best student, athlete, and person I could possibly be.

Many wealthy people live here, over half of the residents are in the top 1% of wealth which forces students to be very sheltered.
